RMS is the biggest sales house for audio inventory on the German market, selling the portfolio of its subsidiaries – radio stations across Germany. In 2015 RMS ran their first programmatic campaign and started looking into options on how to enter the data market. As the audience of online radio continues to grow, media buyers and planners are demanding proof of the effectiveness of their digital audio campaigns. RMS, the German audio sales house, has a long history of research proving the power of FM radio, and to meet the demands of its clients for convergence research, the company has developed a new tool called RMS AUDIO TOTAL Tracker. This analyses the effectiveness of campaigns delivered to three different groups of listeners: FM radio exclusive listeners, online audio exclusive listeners and those who listen to both (mix listeners).

Rai Radio 2, the Italian public broadcaster’s station specialised in talk programming and popular music, is home of the long running show Caterpillar. This show, powered by its charismatic presenter Filippo Solibello, has developed a distinctive voice around sustainability and environmental issues, making it a very attractive platform for major brands. The station, supported by its sales house Rai Pubblicità, attracts significant additional advertising revenues each year through two highly successful initiatives.
