We asked MTV Media Finland for their comments on this initiative:

     

"AVA channel aims at a target group of women aged 25 to 44. Since this target group is active in the social media, we want to offer them new forms of participation and the possibility to influence for example the contents and visual aspects of the channel. For us this is a natural way to build a loyal audience and get fast feedback in the process. And together with our advertisers we have created new multimedia products using social elements."
