"Without tracing the chronological evolution of the D-mat project, I can only emphasise its great achievements. For more than 6 years, all the actors of the advertising industry in Belgium (from producers to broadcasters) have benefitted from a TV standard that – we dare say – won unanimous support! The efficiency gained for all these actors is impressive, no matter if you are talking about delivering, storing and airing TV commercials. Technological developments - migration to HD or integration of the EBU R128 recommendation - have been managed in a harmonious and well synchronised manner.
