Topic: Interactivity, real-time experience, multi-screen opportunities & social engagement: how devices become TV audience and revenue boosters?

With the recent technological changes, television evolved from a passive lean-back experience to being an active medium that commits viewers. How can broadcasters build on this new reality, while avoiding disruption, audience fragmentation and online competition?

This meeting will focus on opportunities to use devices to build strong TV audiences and to boost broadcasters’ revenues. The day will be split up as follow: the first session will focus on ideas and business models from the United States while the rest of the day will focus on members’ best case practices, visions for the future and success stories about transmedia digital formats.

Conditions of entry: Participation in this event is free of charge for all egta members. Please note that egta offers non-members access to an event for free in order to see the association in action and to connect with senior professionals from the industry across Europe and beyond. If your company has already used its complementary entrance please contact the egta team to learn more about the membership options!

Hotel bookings: We would like to draw your attention to the recent change of egta policy with regards to hotel bookings. To give you more flexibility in the booking process, the egta team will no longer book participants’ hotel rooms. Instead, we have negotiated a preferential rate with Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre, and kindly ask you to make your own booking.

Note however that there is a very limited number of rooms left at preferential rate. We advise you therefore to book your room as soon as possible.
