The European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) is the European umbrella organisation for European self-regulatory organisations. They promote high ethical standards in commercial communications and promote them through publications such as EASA's Advertising Self-Regulatory Charter and EASA's Best Practice Recommendations. The website has useful studies showing effective self-regulation in alcohol advertising (amongst other issues) and how self-regulation works in different EU Member States.
