Why this ad: “An iconic Czech ad for Kofola has aired every Christmas since 2003. It features a father and daughter in a forest discussing the folk tradition of the “golden pig,” said to appear to those who fast before Christmas dinner. When the girl innocently asks, “Will it have those big curved tusks pointing up?” the father playfully reassures her. The moment turns comedic as the girl says she doesn’t need to wait because she already sees it — just as a real wild boar charges into view.”

It also reminded me that now, in mid-December, I still need to buy at least 5 gifts for my family. Job done!”
