The request looks into dynamic pop-up/banners that appear on the TV screen announcing the next program or schedule changes etc. These self-promo messages generally appear just for a few seconds in some sort of creative box, pop-up or banner as an overlay to the ongoing programme.

Questions included in the survey:

  • Have you done any research showing how often they can/should appear on screen to drive recall?
  • Do you have any insights about the limit of number of appearances that would lead to over-stimulation and have negative impact on recall?
  • How many times per hour you usually display these messages on the linear TV feed.
