Men are playing an increasingly central role as the person responsible for, or having an influence on, purchase. These questions ask about research on this topic, as well as any related evolutions in pricing, offers or client demand based on male target groups.

Questions included in the survey:

  • Have there been any recently-conducted studies or research in your market on any of the following topics:
    The evolution of shopping habits
    The increasingly central role of men in purchase decision-making
    Evolutions in the definitions of certain sociodemographic target groups
  • Have you recently adapted your pricing grid / packages / target groups to include a male-only target?
  • Have you recently launched a male-specific offer, such as a new thematic channel targeting men, or a TV programme aimed at attracting new male audiences?
  • Do you see an increasing demand from clients for male target groups? If so, how do you usually meet this demand? e.g. with sponsorships of male-targeted programmes or with audience-based buying based on lifestyle etc.
