egta published this week a joint statement with associations of commercial broadcasters in Europe (ACT), Germany (VPRT), Italy (CRTV), and the United Kingdom (COBA).

The objective is, as the review of the AVMS Directive is reaching a crucial point, to remind all parties involved of the need for a long-term perspective on this topic in order to guarantee the sustainability of the European audiovisual media industry in the years to come.

The statement was sent to representatives of the European Commission, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament.
